Bumblebee reboot elates fans

Avid fans of the Transformers movie franchise are overly elated over the Bumblebee reboot film as the full trailer has recently been uploaded to YouTube.

“The upcoming Bumblebee movie looks much better than anything we’ve seen from the franchise in years. The film takes place in the 80’s, and focuses on Bumblebee’s first major adventure on Earth,” a report read.

Hotnewhiphop.com said “trailer also hints at the plot, which appears to focus on Decepticons deceiving the US government into believing that Bumblee is an enemy of the planet.”

ComicBook said, “Bumblebee takes place in 1987, 20 years before the events of the first Transformers movie. Steinfeld’s Charlie Watson is a teenage girl who discovers that her yellow Volkswagen Beetle is actually a giant alien robot.”

Fans are also looking forward to see other Transformers characters as the “movie could have worked without a bunch of other Cybertronian Transformers,” said a report.

CageSideSeats.com said the new trailer has given more insight on Agent Burns, a military official played by no less than John Cena.

“It looks like we might not be saying ‘boo-urns’ when he appears. But we will be questioning why he’s willing to take the word of two other vehicles-that-turn-into-robots about another vehicle-that-turns-into-a-robot, as the decision to track down Autobot Bee seems to be based on intel from Decepticons Shatter and Dropkick,” CageSideSeats.com said.

The film may be an answer to what a report said as a “Transformers fatigue” as the last of its franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight was allegedly a disappointment in relation to the cost of the film production.

This early, fans have already noted that the Bumblebee appears to mark a shift in tone for the Transformers movies.”

“It looks more light-hearted and kid-friendly,” Mashable noted.

Bumblebee, directed by Travis Knight, is expected to hit the cinemas on December 21.
