Inquest Verdict- Cranberries Singer Died From Drowning While Drunk

Dolores O’Riordan, the head vocalists of Irish music group The Cranberries, passed away in January by drowning as a result of taking too much alcohol or what is commonly known as alcohol intoxication, according to the inquest made public at Westminster Coroner’s Court on Thursday, by Britain’s Media Association.

The loss of life of O’Riordan in London lodging in January was a misfortune, and coroner Shirley Radcliffe made the final judgement at Westminster Coroner’s Courtroom, PA disclosed.

O’Riordan, who was 46 years old at the time she passed away, was in London for a brief soundtrack recording session, as reported in a press release from her publicist during the time.

The Cranberries rose to fame in the mid-1990s after releasing a chain of hits, which included “Linger,” “Zombie” as well as “Dreams .” while working with other groups of singers, from Limerick, they managed to distribute a lot more than forty million albums around the world.
